Position Summary:
Independent Land Rover Specialists is seeking highly skilled Fabricators, Welders, and Restoration Specialists to support our growing restoration and customization team. As part of our team, you will:
Collaborate with the sales department, ensuring customers receive accurate information about their vehicle build’s progress, needs and upgrades.
Perform custom fabrication for restoration, rebuilding and off-road builds.
Work with metal, composites, and welding equipment to create or repair high-quality components.
Execute restoration processes, including chassis repairs, body panel fabrication, and drivetrain rebuilding.

Objectives:
Maintain a professional appearance and keep workspaces clean.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and structural concerns, ensuring safety and reliability.
Conduct precision welding and metal fabrication to build and upgrade Land Rovers.
Assist in designing and fabricating custom parts for restoration projects.
Communicate effectively with service advisors and sales teams about recommended build and restoration options.
Participate in training programs and development opportunities to refine skills.
Competencies:
Candidates should possess:
Expertise in welding, metal fabrication, and vehicle restoration techniques.
The ability to read and interpret technical documents, safety procedures, and project instructions.
Strong analytical skills for diagnosing mechanical, electrical and structural issues.
Proficiency in using shop tools, including welders, grinders, and precision measuring instruments.
Experience in chassis and body restoration, drivetrain rebuilding, and custom fabrication.
Experience in removing and installing mechanical and electrical vehicle components.
Education, Certifications & Experience:
Two or more years of welding, fabrication, and/or automotive restoration experience.
ASE or welding/fabrication certifications preferred but not required.
Valid government-issued driver’s license.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift, pull or push heavy objects
Prolonged periods of standing while inspecting, fabricating, and servicing vehicles.

Benefits:
$80k+ annually depending on experience/skill level
6 major holidays paid per year
2-4 weeks of vacation/PTO depending on tenure
5 Day work week only, Monday through Friday 8am-5pm
Group health insurance plan with $500 employer contribution per month
